Providing full track & trace facilities to customers and depots giving full visibility of each palletised freight consignment. Users can track the progress from collection to delivery in real time.

Real Time GPS

Using our advanced IT infrastructure we can see where vehicles are in real time, show where they are unloading and even show the location of signature capture. 


With SmartPOD uploaded proof of delivery can now be available within seconds of the delivery being made. All signatures obtained at the point of delivery are, uploaded to UPN central servers in realtime.

UPN provide complete transparency of all freight, tracking every pallet and consignment from collection point to delivery destination. “In-house” developed IT systems ensure complete customer satisfaction.

App based “SmartHUB” technology monitors and manages all trunks with GPS Tracking of inbound and outbound journeys, In-App Digital manifests, and In-App “On site Guidelines”. The app also receives “call in” notification to indicate when on site trunks are ready to be loaded. An app will receive the outbound manifest directly to it. It will give instructions to drivers, calling them in to be loaded, automatic log of site arrivals, exit of site and more.

Integrated with the new App are a range of “SmartHUB” Central Sortation “Tools”. The “SmartHUB” bespoke technology platform is a powerful new system that manages smooth operations and drives optimum performance across the UK pallet network.

“SmartPOD” Live Signature Capture
Uploads all signatures to servers in real time. Uploaded POD is now available seconds after delivery. In addition GPS signposts are given at arrival, unload, and delivery points.

Mobile Track and Trace
A specialised web-based app allowing customers to track freight via phone or tablet showing interactive progress reports.

Customer Input System
A highly secure password protected customer input system for regular shippers of palletised freight. It provides 24/7/365 access and real time freight visibility, supported by detailed KPI reporting, and comprehensive track and trace back up.

A new “paperless” paperwork system that saves time and significantly helps to improve efficiency. A web based system that requires no software installation, SmartDOC is flexible to individual workflows.
