Yes. United Pallet Network (UPN) provides certified carbon-neutral pallet delivery across its UK network. UPN calculates and offsets the emissions associated with its pallet deliveries through its programme with Carbon Neutral Britain.
Carbon-neutral pallet delivery involves measuring the emissions generated by transporting freight and balancing those emissions through verified carbon-offset projects. UPN forecasts its network mileage and offsets the associated emissions through Carbon Neutral Britain, with every UPN consignment included automatically.
Not with United Pallet Network (UPN). Carbon-neutral delivery is included as part of UPN’s standard pallet delivery service at no additional cost to the customer.
Carbon-neutral delivery should be supported by measured emissions data and independently verified carbon credits or certification. UPN’s carbon-neutral delivery programme is independently certified through Carbon Neutral Britain, with its emissions and offsetting documented as part of the certification process.
Pallet networks can reduce emissions by improving vehicle utilisation, reducing unnecessary mileage, using less energy and switching equipment to lower-emission alternatives. UPN combines carbon offsetting with measures including more than 80% trailer utilisation, electric forklifts and reductions in energy, water and paper use.
